Terms and Conditions of Use
General
Due to government laws and regulations, it is generally prohibited to sell raw milk and its’ derives for human consumption.
In addition, every producer which processes food from its original state needs to obtain different production licenses, including sanitary licenses for each product and each variety.
For us as small producers, of a great variety of products, the administrative and financial expenditure to obtain and maintain these licenses would be too high to be able to offer competitive products.
Due to these facts we have no other legal way, other than to sell our products as “not for human consumption”.
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions of Use, our registered customers acknowledge to be aware that the products sold on this site are not for human consumption or usage in general, and thus agrees to our general terms.
Customers Right of Control
As we don’t sell our products for human consumption or usage in general, we are not subject to the government control institutions. However, we give the far right of quality and hygiene control directly to our registered customers.
For quality and Hygiene controls every of our registered customers has the right to control and survey the production, storage, and hygiene facilities at business hours (8 am – 4 pm Monday – Friday).
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions of Use, our registered customers have the rights to control production, storage, and hygiene facilities, and thus agree to our terms of customer control rights.
Payments
Payment is due in cash on delivery or PayPal (except for orders to cities i.e. Cuenca, Quito, where payment has to be deposited before the order can be sent). The surcharge for the delivery has to be paid separately and is not included in the invoice issued by the automated system.
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions of Use, our registered customers acknowledge and agree to the given payment methods at the moment of the checkout (Paypal) or on cash on delivery.
Deliveries and returns
Deliveries are made on arrangement.
Deliveries from the minimum order amount: Delivery to the main square of Vilcabamba, at no cost.
For orders above the minimum amount: Home delivery included, for Vilcabamba center and Hacienda San Joaquin.
For deliveries to suburbs we will ask you a surcharge of 1.00 U$ per km diameter. I.e. for deliveries to Yamburara Alto we are charging 3.00 U$.
If a customer is not fully satisfied with the quality of a bought product, we commit to refund or replace the product on arrangement. (Minimum 90% of product remaining)
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions of Use, our registered customers understand the terms of the shipments and refund, and agree to them.
